(This is what I have done is the past to move from depression to Happiness and what I am choosing to do NOW to level up in life) ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⁠

We talk a lot about wanting to “feel better,” “think clearer,” “be calmer,” “stop overthinking,” “feel more confident,” “heal old patterns”… but here’s the part we often skip:⁠

Your mental state changes the same way your physical body does - through consistent, intentional work.⁠
⁠
If you wanted to lose weight, you wouldn’t eat one salad and expect magic.⁠
⁠
If you wanted to get stronger, you wouldn’t do one workout and call it done.⁠
⁠
If you wanted more energy, you wouldn’t sleep well once and expect it to last forever.⁠

Yet somehow, when it comes to our inner world, we hope one meditation, one journal entry, one kinesiology session, one “good day,” one insight will fix everything.⁠

Releasing is such an important part of our mind, body and energy system.⁠

We let go from our physical body every day without even thinking about it. But when was the last time you released from your mind or your soul⁠
⁠
Writing things out of your head with the intention of letting go of old stresses, hurts or thoughts that no longer serve you can be such a powerful way to clear mental space. It’s a way of saying I don’t need to carry this anymore.⁠

And releasing through the body matters just as much. Acupressure, gentle movement, and noticing how your body feels can help your energy system soften and reset. Sometimes your body knows how to release long before your mind does.⁠

A few weeks ago I had a moment where everything inside me cracked open.⁠
⁠
A quiet breakdown that turned into a breakthrough.⁠
Tears flowed... I couldn't stop them.⁠
Everything around me was in slow motion.⁠
It took all my strength to not run away.⁠
⁠
I’m still processing this, still letting my body catch up with what my mind finally admitted. Thoughts still linger, reminding me of the work I still need to do.⁠
I felt it in my body, in my soul, in my entire being. A deep wound that has been with me, most of my life.⁠
⁠
Emotional overwhelm doesn’t just live in your thoughts. It is held in your body. It shows up in your breath, your chest, your digestion, your shoulders, the way you brace without even realising it. It shows up in the form of triggers, and ruminating thoughts that are difficult to shut off.⁠
⁠
This is where kinesiology has been such a gift for me.⁠
⁠
It helps me understand where stress is sitting in my body through gentle muscle testing. It shows me the places that are holding too much and the places that need support. When my body is allowed to speak, clarity arrives in a way my mind could never force.⁠

Every time I release something through kinesiology, I feel myself soften. My nervous system settles. My inner world becomes spacious again. And the emotional weight I was carrying starts to move.⁠

OMG... just had another life altering / levelling up moment with @mymummyaustralia.

I had to pitch, Shark Tank style, for one minute with only a minute to prepare.

I've NEVER done this before and I am still shaking (nerves),

Something in being with the right people and pushing myself in a safe environment is so empowering.

A few weeks ago, I caught up with a beautiful friend of mine. For me, true friendships have been difficult. Like so many of the clients, I struggle to allow myself to deeply connect with others – it’s a protection mechanism I installed into my psyche long ago due to all the hurt when I was growing up.⁠
⁠
This friendship has lasted over 10 years. We meet at a networking event and from then came to understand and learn about each others businesses, supporting each other when we could.⁠
⁠
And while our businesses have grown and I don’t see her very often, catching up with her feels like a hug from the universe. Someone that gets the struggles of motherhood, business and life!⁠
⁠
This weekend, take some time to connect with just 1 person. Someone you feel safe chatting with and someone you feel "hears” you.⁠
⁠
Your heart and soul with thank you.⁠
⁠
Oh, and the picture of the car is because when we caught up the restaurant closed earlier then we realised and as we hadn’t finished chatting we jumped into my car to continue our chat!
